Android AutoGoogle has found a solution for those who cannot conduct important meetings for their office or business on Zoom or WebEx while driving. In its latest update for Android Auto, Google has introduced an audio calling feature for both apps, allowing users to join meetings without picking up their phones. Besides this update, Google has also added new apps to Android Auto, including a browser app called Vivaldi, a new weather channel with Trip View, Amazon Prime Video app, and much more.

To download or update Android Auto to the latest version 10.5 beta, follow these simple steps:

First, go to the beta registration page, click on “Join” and sign in.
Next, open the Play Store app on your smartphone, click on your profile picture, then click on “Manage apps & devices.”
In the “Manage” tab, find the Android Auto app and update it to the latest available beta version.

Since Android Auto 10.5 is currently in the beta version, you may encounter bugs and other issues. However, it’s expected that Google will release the final version in the coming weeks

In the latest version of Android Auto, users can participate in online meetings on Zoom and WebEx through apps on the car’s infotainment screen. For driver safety, the app does not permit video calls to avoid distraction. The new web browsing app, Vivaldi, based on Chromium, allows users to browse content while on the go. The new weather app keeps users updated with forecasts for their destination to be better prepared

Users can also enjoy entertainment through the Amazon Prime Video app even after parking their car. The new Android Auto update will also support a compatible wireless adapter with Apple CarPlay.

Android Auto now supports digital car keys, allowing smartphone users with Google Pixel or Samsung Galaxy S23 series phones to use them as digital car keys to lock, unlock, and even start their cars. Initially, this feature was limited to select Hyundai and Kia vehicles. It will now be available in the United States, South Korea, and a few European countries. There is a possibility that this feature will be rolled out in more countries in the future
