RBI Assistant notification has released a notification for the recruitment of 450 Assistant positions in 2023.

RBI Assistant notification: Along with the announcement, the application process has also begun. The application link is active on RBI’s official website www.rbi.org. 4-10-2023, is last date for application.

The deposit must be made for this. The preliminary examination is scheduled for October 21 and October 23. The main examination is proposed to be held on December 2, 2023.

It will start with the preliminary examination, and successful candidates will have to appear for the main examination, followed by a language proficiency test (LPT).

RBI Assistant Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in any subject is mandatory. For OBC, SC, and ST candidates, there is no requirement for 50% marks; passing is sufficient Knowledge of word processing on a computer is essential. Age Limit: Minimum age is 20 years, and the maximum age is 28 years.

This means that the candidate’s birth must be before September 2, 1995, and after September 1, 2003

RBI Assistant Salary:

Salary: The initial basic salary will be ₹20,700 per month. After that, the salary will be as follows: ₹20,700 – 1,200 (3) – ₹24,300 – ₹14,400 (4) – ₹30,060 – ₹19,20 (6) – ₹41,580 – ₹2,080 (2) – ₹45,740 – ₹2,370 (3) – ₹52,850 – ₹2,850 – ₹55,700 (20 years) plus allowances such as DA, TA, and others.

RBI Assistant Fees:

Application Fee – ₹450 (General, OBC, EWS) plus GST

SC, ST, PwD – ₹50 plus GST

RBI Assistant Selection Process:

Candidates will have to go through three online examinations to be selected for these positions. These include the preliminary examination, the main examination, and the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

RBI Assistant Exam Pattern:

The preliminary examination will be one hour long and will consist of 100 questions worth 100 marks.

It will include 30 questions in English language, 35 in Numerical Ability, and 35 in Reasoning Ability. Candidates who pass the preliminary examination will be eligible to appear for the main examination.

RBI Assistant Main Examination:

The main examination will consist of 200 questions worth 200 marks, and candidates will have 135 minutes to complete it. The main examination will include questions from Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, and Computer, with 40 questions each.

Both the preliminary and main examinations will have a provision for negative marking, where one-fourth of a mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

RBI Assistant Main and LPT Exam Pattern:

Based on performance in the main examination, shortlisted candidates will be required to take a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The LPT exam will be conducted in the local language spoken in the respective region. Candidates who fail the Language Proficiency Test (local language) will be disqualified.

Before the examination, candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories will also be provided with exam preparation assistance.
